| The VCOS EFT switch is the component on VCOS which provides a solution for processing both card and non-card based transactions within and across financial institutions. In its modular form it can be configured as a central switch for a group of institutions, as a participating member institution and as an interface for systems internal to an institution. This switch is generic and is used for applications spanning shared ATM systems, EFT/POS systems, stored-value card systems, VISA systems and Internet direct debit systems.
